The newest book by well known Dutch children´s book creators, Ingrid & Dieter Schubert, this is the story of a mouse who professes his love to his girlfriend while sitting on a tree branch. "My love," he tells her "has no barriers. Nothing can keep me away from you..." and so on. Suddenly the branch they are sitting on breaks and they fall onto the ground right in front of a big, scary cat. The mouse dashes off "like the wind" squeaking hastily over his shoulder "I will distract him." His girlfriend hides away in a hole and thinks to herself "What a brave mouse!"
