 Advertising Sales Representative

Marketing / Advertising Assistants

Assist and prepare marketing campaigns. You should enjoy working closely with management and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times. 50% of your time will be spent on making calls to our members. You will be trained on all of our services.

Qualifications:

Assist editors in preparing material for print guides, magazines, directories and Web site.

Tasks may include the following:

Choose themes or subjects for written work; conduct research into the subject; assemble background material and obtain other necessary data plan; organize material and write the work; revise or edit the work ensuring coherence of style, proper development of theme, plot and characterization, and correct referencing; set out the original manuscript so that it is clear and legible; conduct phone interviews.

Qualifications:

  • Journalism education/experience a plus
  • Web publishing experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the toy and hobby industry a plus.
  • Observant and inquisitive approach to people and their environment
  • Ability to think and write creatively and clearly
  • Excellent understanding of English, particularly grammar and spelling

Freelance Writer / Telecommuting Jobs (Internship Available)

Exciting Opportunity for Freelance Writers. We are looking for experienced writers for the TDmonthly Magazine. The magazine is sent electronically to 26,500+ retail store owners.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree (high GPA preferred.)

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have experience writing and editing of newsletters or other types of publications such as trade magazines.  Experience interacting with organizational leaders for interviews and copy approval. Experience facilitating decision-making around publications, including making design/layout decisions, and selecting appropriate photography and graphic designs to illustrate articles.  Journalistic copyediting knowledge. Interviewing skills. Ability to schedule and manage publication production process and meet deadlines.  Strong results orientation.

Senior Designer(s)

Responsible for the creation and expansion of Internet content. Assists the account manager in heading up the development team. Handles scheduling of technical personnel. GPA 3.6 or higher.

Web Developer

Web application development including database design, and review, and implementation of web-based information. Enhance and support existing systems, including upgrades, conversions, problem resolution and adapting existing applications/databases to new Web technology. Communicates well with the user through all phases of development and support. Experience in using high-level web-authoring tools, graphics preparation and optimization, and database-web connectivity.

Qualifications:

  • Knowlege of Microsoft SQL Server
