SPOT India 2003


Sports Goods Export Promotion Council Chairman, D.K. Mittal and Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director, Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts address the Press.
On Oct. 13-16, 2003, New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan Exhibition Hall will host SPOT India 2003, India’s premiere business-to-business fair for toys, outdoor products and sporting goods. Over 100 Indian manufacturers are scheduled to attend the exhibition, which will coincide with the Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair.

Toy categories include: educational toys, dolls and plush, electronic toys and games and puzzles. Also presented will be a variety of Hobby and Arts and Crafts items, such as paper and candle crafts, doll-making materials/dollhouses, drawing/ paint supplies and lamp and shade crafts.

Besides toys and sporting goods, SPOT will also feature Outdoor products such as camping equipment, outdoor clothing, garden tools and beach furniture. The centerpiece of this year’s show will be a theme pavilion from India’s National Institute of Design presenting new products in development for export. Buyers are expected from Europe, Asia, Latin America and the USA.

The Sports Goods Export Council and the Toy Association of India, as well as the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) will support the Fair.
