The Okee Dokee line of 12" plush features whimsical friends with distinctive, wacky patterns and fun colors exclusive to each animal. Their mismatched eyes and crooked, yet cute, smiles are sure to bring the giggles. The collection includes Potomas the hippo, Mangos the monkey and Lillibelle the lamb. Launch date: 2009.

Aurora inked a deal to produce an exclusive plush product line for Stephan Pastis’ Pearls Before Swine, the hit cartoon comic strip syndicated in more than 550 newspapers worldwide. Aurora’s Pearls plush product line will initially include seven pieces. The free standing, 12 inch plush includes Rat, Pig, and Croc (MSRP: $10.99). Buyers won’t be able to resist the smaller 8-inch pieces, which include Rat, Pig, Croc and Zebra (pictured, MSRP: $6.99). You can "meet" Stephan Pastis by watching the video, taken at Toy Fair 2009.

Aurora’s charismatic Dilly Dallys line includes eight different animals. Mousey, Alley Cat and Howler (14” MSRP $14.99) feature different patches embroidered on their bellies and feet. The patches represent a characteristic of each animal. For example, Howler the Monkey features a banana; Alley Cat, a fish bone; and Mousey, a slice of cheese. Howler and Alley Cat’s uneven smiles or Mousey’s charming, oversized front tooth will put smiles on the faces of children and adults alike. The other Dilly Dallys — Laramie Lion, B.B. These additions to Aurora’s furry, loveable YooHoo line are 8" Sugar Glider, Panda, Penguin and Lesser Panda. Each cuddly plush character makes a distinctive and funny sound when its tummy is squeezed.  Sugar Glider has pink wings attached to her tiny arms and tail, and makes a "whistle” sound). Lesser Panda features a pink and purple striped tail to match his pink button nose and purple body, and makes a “boing” sound. Panda makes a “giggle” noise when squeezed, and Penguin makes a “magical” noise.

Aurora’s super-soft and interactive 14” teddy bear provides cuddly comfort while helping kids learn valuable skills. Through the bear’s colorful pair of overalls children learn how to tie a ribbon, fasten a snap, close a button and put items in a pocket. As they practice their motor skills, they will also learn the names of popular fruits that correspond to the colored parts of the overalls, banana and orange feet, and an apple and pear to put inside a bib pouch. Sound effects, a rattle and a squeak, on the hands round out the educational and developmental fun.

Cheeky Charlie and his pal Carmen (both 14.5”) are two bean-filled plush monkeys that like hanging around and creating smiles. Velcro hands can clasp or wrap around just about anything, making them as at home in a crib or playpen as they are on a bookshelf or windowsill. A brightly-colored bib and trademarked “banana in the tail” add instant interest and curiosity. Many of the creatures that call the sea their home along with household pets are also included in the large collection. For the award winning category, Baby Talk, Aurora has released two new items for 2009 including My First Pet and My First Tool Kit. The plush carriers (6 inches in size) are easy for children to carry with them. Included in each carrier are four related plush characters (two to four inches depending on the character). Each plays a sound and has its corresponding name embroidered on the side, which teaches learning and development by association of words, shapes and sounds.

Jazzy, a cuddly lion featuring long curly locks of hair, is one of the most adored characters from Aurora’s line of Flopsies. Kids love hugging and squeezing this beautiful ten inch, free-standing plush lion. For 2009, three vivid and colorful additions — called Mop Tops — are joining Jazzy’s “den” -- also ten inches in size, the violet, turquoise and pink assortment make sound when squeezed. Kids and tweens will appreciate choosing from the colorful options to match their personal style.

Eco-friendly plush is generally double or triple the cost of its non-green counterparts. However, Aurora’s soybean based eco-plush line, which won a BabyZone.com Amazing Toy Award, retains quality without compromising affordability. Varying from 7.5 to 12 inches, suggested retail prices range from $15.99 - $39.99, respectively. The line includes arctic and endangered animals like polar bears, penguins and pandas, as well as jungle animals such as gorillas, monkeys, elephants and hippos.

Aurora released an adorable Bush Baby that retailers couldn’t keep on shelves. Now there are four more styles available, in vivid colors, and each of them makes funny sounds when squeezed. The bean filled plush animals (8”, MSRP: $6.99) have big ears, long tails and wide eyes and colors include Violet, Hot Pink, Turquoise and Lime Green.

Aurora is commemorating Lamb Chop’s 50th Anniversary with its special edition puppet (15” MSRP $13.99), closely fashioned after the original Lamb Chop that caught the eyes of millions of viewers. The larger brown eyelashes, more prominent nose, and ribbed white sweater with three red buttons are a reminder of the Lamb Chop who have kept us laughing for more than 50 years.

Children and tweens will appreciate the soft and cuddly tails and fun, bright colors of the Fluffy Tails line (animals are 9" in size and the fluffy tail stretches even longer!).  The animals include Purrrfect (pink, cat), Fluffee (white, cat), Fancee (violet, fox), Prancee (turquoise, horse) and Merri (mint/lime, monkey). Launch date: 2009.

This 6" plush castle with a front door that opens from the top includes prince and princess finger puppets as well as a dragon and a white unicorn with sound effects.

This soft, huggable giraffe features a pastel palette with patchwork accents on its body and the bottom of its feet.

About 9" in diameter, this colorful ball features outer sections that name the colors represented. It unzips and unties to reveal various activities inside, including the ABCs and 123s with a mirror, ties, a button and elements that crinkle and squeak.

This mermaid doll is soft and cuddly enough for a young child, but carries detail to foster the imagination of older girls.

With his lovable smile and signature banana in the tail, Cheeky Charlie has an updated look for 2010. Cheeky Charlie “Rock Star” features a Mohawk, sports a guitar and t-shirt (14.5 inches). Cheeky Charlie Surfer (14.5 inches) in a visor and board shorts is ready to hit the beach with his surfboard. Cheeky Charlie Birthday and Zoo Keeper (14.5 inches) is one of many new additions to the Cheeky Charlie line by Aurora for 2010. Each monkey’s Velcro hands make merchandising easy.

Available in six and eight inches (three styles each), the Robots make fun and entertaining sounds when squeezed (the big ones light up too).

Fancy Pals Pet Carriers (interchangeable plush animal and purse in one) originated from the success of their Mini Fancy Pals (3.5 inch version with keychain attachments) leading to the creation of "Tiny Totes." Taking portable to a whole new level, the Mini-Fancy Pals line has expanded to incorporate the “Tiny Totes” which includes 18 new styles, six of which are adorable little removable and interchangeable dolls. The other 12 include domestic and jungle animals. Tiny Totes are 3.5 to 4.5 inches in size depending on the item number.
