" Included in this assortment is the LEGO Droids Battle Pack which contains an army of minifigures to allow fans to create their own armies."
— When asked to name a best-selling construction toy in his store, Sean O’Brien, manager of Blinn’s in Fairfield, Conn., said, “I would have to say LEGOs. They’re having a hard time supplying us — couldn’t keep up with demand. There [might] be a big shortage of LEGO this year, especially the Star Wars product line.”
— Thirteen of 39 retailers agreed with O’Brien in spring 2007 that LEGO is big in the construction toy category.
— Specialty retailers reported to TDmonthly an average sales figure of about 80 units per month for LEGO sets.

— Jordan Walden, store manager for Finnegan's Toys and Gifts in Portland, Ore., told TDmonthly in spring 2007, "We don't do a lot of licensed stuff," but "Star Wars LEGO is probably our best-seller" in the category. Finnegan's sells about 50 a month.

He indicated that the Ravensburger puzzle with Lego toys is a particularly popular item.

— LEGO products can be "low cost items that can easily add to other LEGO creations or be used alone," Angel Stahl, owner of Angel’s Toy Barn in Greensburg,  Pa., told TDmonthly. 
— TDmonthly recently spoke with with Michael McNally, the Director of LEGO Brand Relations, who said, "The entire LEGO Creator Classic Building Line got a new twist this year with several sets designed to offer unique collections of LEGO bricks and elements to help young builders create the cars, homes, and buildings they see throughout their every day."

— Emily, “She Who Has Been There The Longest," of Ambassador Toys in San Francisco also finds the LEGOs to be at the top of the list for this age group.
