Award stickers are everywhere this time of year, and not all of them mean the same thing. So we went straight to the source. These 18 toys won 2026 honors from three established U.S. programs: the Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards, announced by The Toy Foundation on Feb. 13, 2026; the Good Housekeeping 2026 Toy Awards, published Oct. 1, 2026; and the 2026 National Parenting Product Awards (NAPPA). We checked every win on the program’s own page, then added the maker’s age grade, safety warnings, an honest pros-and-cons list and the Amazon price on Oct. 25, 2026.

How we picked: Every toy below is a named 2026 winner on the awarding program’s own website. We grouped them by the maker’s age grade, not the award category, because that’s how most of us shop. Each program judges differently. Good Housekeeping says it tests in its lab and with kid testers, and NAPPA posts evaluator comments on its winner pages, so follow the links to see how each program decides. We didn’t test these toys ourselves. We also checked each one against U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls on Oct. 25, 2026.
