Meet the Maker
Great Eastern Entertainment, also known as GE Animation, has made officially licensed anime and pop-culture merchandise since 1995, back when anime conventions drew “a few hundred to a few thousand,” as the company puts it. Its licenses run from One Piece, Naruto and Sailor Moon to Chainsaw Man and Spy x Family.
Plush is a big part of that, and the company keeps experimenting with the format: animal-costume mascots, plush shoulder bags and FigureKey, its patent-pending “fully articulated plush” with a vinyl head.
Kakashi in his Anbu uniform, a look fans know from the series. It has a string on top so it can hang on a wall or shelf with the rest of the collection.
Parent Reality Check
It’s built for display as much as cuddling.
The Amazon listing doesn’t print an age grade. Check the tag.
It’s one of several Great Eastern Naruto plush on our Plush gift-guide page, so you can compare characters there.
8 in · vinyl head · rotating head and movable limbs · Recommended age 15+ (maker store)
Kid Hook
Half action figure, half plush. The vinyl head holds Sasuke’s spiky hair in a way fabric can’t, and the head turns and limbs move for posing and photos.
Parent Reality Check
The maker says 15 years and over. This is a teen or adult collectible, not a little kid’s plush.
Great Eastern’s FigureKey line includes other characters, so a fan can build a posed lineup over time.
At 8 inches with a vinyl head, it’s a display piece first. Keep it on a shelf, not in the toy bin.
Great Eastern makes plush for fans first, and that’s the point. For a teen who knows every Naruto arc, the Fox shoulder bag or a FigureKey is a safe win. For younger kids, check the age grade: FigureKeys are 15+, and some listings don’t print one at all. Prices swing between Amazon and the maker’s store, so check both.
Safety check: We searched the CPSC recall database for “Great Eastern” on Oct. 26, 2026 and found no recalls.
