NeeDoh is the line of squishy sensory toys from Schylling, designed in North Andover, Massachusetts, and it is one of the hardest toys to find this fall. On the morning of Oct. 26, 2026, the NeeDoh Nice Cube Swirl was No. 1 in Amazon's Toys & Games Best Sellers even though Amazon showed it as currently unavailable (Hot Toys This Week). On Oct. 27, Schylling's own site showed this notice: "Demand for NeeDoh and our other products is exceptionally high right now, so we're taking a short pause on new orders. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated date when we will resume orders." Schylling suggests looking at local toy and gift stores in the meantime. Here is what each popular NeeDoh is, what it should cost, and how to shop without getting burned.

1. NeeDoh Nice Cube: $5.99 list

The ice-cube squish that made NeeDoh a TikTok hit. It is a 2.25-inch cube filled with a dough-like compound. Schylling says it feels soft when you squish it slowly and firm when you squish it fast, and that it always returns to its square shape. You get one cube per pack in a random color (pink, purple or blue). Ages 3 and up. Out of stock on schylling.com on Oct. 27.
2. NeeDoh Nice Cube Swirl: $5.99 list

The same 2.25-inch cube, but in a marbled color blend that Schylling says is unique to each cube. Ages 3 and up. Out of stock on schylling.com on Oct. 27.
3. NeeDoh Gumdrop: $5.99 list

A gumdrop-shaped NeeDoh, about 2.25 by 2.25 by 3.5 inches, in a random color (blue, orange, pink or purple). Ages 3 and up. Out of stock on schylling.com on Oct. 27.
4. NeeDoh Snow Ball Crunch: $4.49 list

A 2.5-inch snowball squish with a crunchy bead filling. Schylling says it feels like crunching through fresh snow and pitches it as a winter stocking stuffer. Ages 3 and up. Out of stock on schylling.com on Oct. 27.
Safety: Schylling's warning on all four reads "CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs." It also says not to heat, freeze or microwave them.
Can you buy NeeDoh on Amazon right now?
Barely. When we searched Amazon on Oct. 27 at about 2:50 a.m. PT, we couldn't find a Schylling-branded single Nice Cube, Gumdrop or Snow Ball Crunch. Most cube and gumdrop squishies in the results came from other brands. The genuine Schylling item we did find was the Schylling NeeDoh Teenie 10-Pack, a variety pack of mini squishes. It listed at $23.14, ranked No. 9 in Squeeze Toys and No. 37 across all of Toys & Games, and was marked "Available by invitation," which means you have to request an invitation on the listing before you can buy.

How to avoid overpaying or getting a fake
- Know the list prices. The four NeeDoh squishes in this guide list at $4.49 to $5.99 on schylling.com, and the larger Nice Berg lists at $12.99. If a single NeeDoh costs several times that, you are likely paying a reseller markup. One single-pack Schylling NeeDoh we saw on Amazon on Oct. 27 was priced at $47.88.
- Check the brand line. Make sure the listing names Schylling as the brand or manufacturer. A cube that looks the same is not necessarily a NeeDoh.
- Watch for scams. In its NeeDoh feature, Good Housekeeping reported that NeeDoh is sold out in many places, that some shoppers have been caught up in NeeDoh scams, and that some toy stores are limiting how many each customer can buy.
- Try local stores. That is where Schylling itself is pointing shoppers while online orders are paused.
Who it's for as a gift
NeeDoh is rated for ages 3 and up, and Schylling markets it to kids and grown-ups alike for school, the office or the car. At list price, a single NeeDoh is one of the easiest stocking stuffers you can buy. If you can't find one, other squeeze toys are selling well this season, including the Squishmallows Gelli Gels and Crayola Globbles in Hot Toys This Week.
Pros: Low list prices ($4.49 to $5.99); each one has a different feel (firm cube, crunchy snowball); Schylling says the Nice Cube holds its shape through thousands of squishes; works for kids and adults.
Cons: Very hard to find right now, and Schylling has paused new orders with no restart date; resale prices can run far above list; colors are random, so you can't pick one; small parts make them a poor fit for homes with kids under 3; they can't be heated, frozen or microwaved.
