Hasbro's Candy Land Becomes a Walk-Through Candy Store in Midtown Manhattan This November

Candy Land NYC, the first Candy Land store in the United States, opens in November next to the New York Hilton Midtown at 1335 Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue at 54th Street). Event Network, which runs shops at museums, zoos and other attractions, developed it under license from Hasbro. Shoppers follow the board game's path through themed areas, the Candied Apple Orchard, Gummy Mountains, Chocolate Caves, Lollipop Forest and Ice Cream Beach, and pay at the Candy Castle at the end. Along the way they fill a bag with candy, and the store also sells drinks, toys, souvenirs, collectibles and clothing themed to each area.
The store's official site lists hours of 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. No exact opening day has been posted yet. "At Hasbro, we're always looking for new ways for fans to experience the brands they love," said Matt Proulx, Hasbro's senior vice president of global experiences, partnerships and music. Candy Land first came out in 1949.

Pop Mart Says Third-Quarter Revenue Fell 45% to 50%, With Sales in the Americas Down 70% to 75%
Pop Mart, the company behind Labubu and The Monsters, told the Hong Kong stock exchange on Oct. 27 that its unaudited revenue for July through September 2026 fell 45% to 50% from the same quarter a year earlier. Revenue from its operations in the Americas fell 70% to 75%, the steepest drop of any region; mainland China fell 25% to 30%, other Asia-Pacific markets fell 65% to 70%, and Europe and other regions fell 50% to 55%. In China, sales in its own stores and other offline channels fell 5% to 10%, while online sales fell 45% to 50%.
The company said the figures come from a preliminary review of management accounts, have not been audited and may be adjusted, and it advised investors to be cautious when trading its shares. The filing does not give reasons for the declines.

Lovevery Launches 12 $50 Mini Kits for Babies and Toddlers, Including an Airplane Kit Made With Delta
Early-childhood brand Lovevery announced 12 Mini Kits on Oct. 28, its biggest Mini Kits collection so far, with more than 50 new playthings and books for newborns through age 3 and up. Each kit costs $50 and is built around a moment parents find hard: diaper changes, stroller walks, car rides, restaurant meals and flights. The On the Airplane Mini Kit (18 months and up), made with Delta Air Lines, centers on a board book with real photos that walks a toddler through the travel day from airport security to landing.
Some kits are in Walmart now and others are coming to Target; the full collection goes on sale at Lovevery.com on Nov. 3. Lovevery also says its toys are now in more than 3,000 stores and that a new Woodland color of its Play Gym arrives at Walmart in November, the first new version of that product since 2017. "We designed these Mini Kits around those real experiences, giving parents purposeful, screen-free ways to engage their children wherever they go," said cofounder and CEO Jessica Rolph.
Pros: Ready-made, screen-free kits for travel and restaurants, with age grades from newborn up; $50 each at mass retailers
Cons: Each kit is sold at only some stores (Walmart, Target or both), so check before driving out; the full set isn't online until Nov. 3

Sourhouse and BaKIT Box Launch a $79.99 Sourdough Science Kit for Kids 5 to 12

Kids' cooking-kit maker BaKIT Box and sourdough-tool brand Sourhouse have teamed up on a Sourdough Starter Kit for Kids. Children grow a live starter from flour and water over about 7 to 10 days, keeping daily notes, then use it to bake a sourdough loaf and a batch of crackers made from the starter discard. The kit includes pre-measured bread flour and salt, a reusable glass Sourhouse Starter Jar with a silicone lid, starter-naming stickers, a 34-by-34-inch cotton bread blanket, a recipe guide and an activity guide with fermentation experiments, ratio practice and sourdough traditions from Egypt, Italy and the United States.
It costs $79.99, with suggested ages of 5 to 12. The maker notes that younger bakers may need help with measuring and daily feeding, that adults must supervise any oven or sharp-tool use, and that the kit contains gluten.
Pros: A science project that ends in real bread; reusable jar and blanket keep working after the kit is done; a long winter-break activity
Cons: $79.99 for flour, salt and accessories; the loaf takes about 3 hours of prep plus proofing, so it needs a patient adult; not for gluten-free homes
