The FolkMonsters back story is that a meteorite fell from outer space into a pile of fabric in the designers’ workroom one night. The resulting spores mutated the fabric, and FolkMonsters were born. Two debut this spring: Blueper and Twickety. They are 16-inches tall and feature a two-handed design. Twickety is a bird-like creature with a fluorescent green-yellow body and colorful flying dinosaur-like wings. She has a tuft of yellow hair, likes lemonade, popping bubble wrap, and doing crafts. Her favorite place to sleep is in a nest of super-soft things.
