In the Joyful Time series she dresses up as Teddy LuLu or Bunny LuLu: a vinyl face on a plush body, about 5.5 inches tall, with a clip for a backpack or purse. It's the top-ranked LuLu listing on Amazon: 4.7 stars from 363 ratings, with "100+ bought in past month" (Amazon, Oct. 18). Several reviewers call it a cheaper, easier-to-find Labubu stand-in.
Parent Reality Check
- It's a blind box. There are 6 regular designs, plus a special edition (3 in 96 boxes) and a secret (1 in 96). Buy singles and you may get twins. One parent bought the 6-box "Whole Set" "to avoid getting a bunch of duplicates."
- Ages 15+. That's the manufacturer's recommended age on Amazon. EU listings for LuLu also warn of small parts for kids under 3. Treat it as a tween, teen or grown-up bag charm, not a toddler plush.
- Check the seal. In reviews we read across the LuLu line on Amazon, the most common complaint was boxes arriving opened or resealed. One Vintage Teddy Shop buyer described a box hot-glued back shut. The cause isn't known, and it isn't specific to this series. Buy from the TOYZERO+ store listing and inspect the box on arrival.
