Our Short on Crayola Globbles has become the toy video parents are watching this week. Globbles were already climbing Amazon’s Toys & Games Best Sellers when we featured them in Hot Toys This Week, and on Oct. 28 the 6- and 16-count packs were No. 22 in Toys & Games and No. 4 in Squeeze Toys on Amazon, with more than 21,000 ratings.
Crayola Globbles Sticky Squish Balls
Crayola · Ages 4 and up (Crayola) · 3-, 6- and 16-count packs
What they do: stick, stack, squish, sling
Stick: toss one at a wall or the ceiling and it holds, then drops back down.
Stack: the tacky surface lets kids build small towers.
Squish: each ball is a soft squeeze toy, so it doubles as a stress ball.
Sling: throwing them is half the fun, so set indoor rules early.
Crayola says Globbles don’t leave a sticky residue behind.
Which pack to buy
6-count: $11.99, sold by Amazon.com, about $2.00 per ball. The stocking-stuffer size for one child.
16-count: $19.27, sold by Amazon.com, about $1.20 per ball. The better buy for siblings, party favors or a classroom.
3-count: Crayola also sells a 3-pack, a small add-on for a stocking or goody bag.
Parent Reality Check
Ages: Crayola grades Globbles for ages 4 and up. The Amazon listings warn: “CHOKING HAZARD -- This toy is a small ball. Not for children under 3 yrs.” Keep them away from younger siblings.
Cleaning: they pick up lint, dust and pet hair. Crayola says washing with soap and water restores the stick.
Heat: the Amazon listings say not to heat or microwave them.

Globbles are cheap, colorful and easy to show in a few seconds of video: a squish, a stack, a throw at the ceiling. That makes them an easy pick for fall stocking stuffers, classroom prizes and party favor bags. For more small gifts, see our Stocking Stuffers for Kids Under $15, and find Globbles on ToyDirectory.
