The Carrera Custom Rods is a realistic street-racing set built on a 1:24 scale. As Lou Metri, owner of Joggin’ Your Noggin’ in Monroe, Conn., told TDmonthly, “Carrera is a German company that rates very well. Their slot-cars sets and models are very realistic.” The dimensions when assembled are 8.37' x 10.14', while the track length is 30.51' total.

The cars are based on the most popular models from 1934 and 1941.
