Black Cat, the sometimes ally and love interest of Spider-Man, joins the Marvel X Bishoujo Collection  (combining iconic superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings). Also known as Felicia Hardy, Black Cat comes to life in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on original character art by illustrator Shunya Yamashita, and is the first in the series to be enlarged to the 1/7th scale, standing at 9" tall atop an exclusive display base consisting of a miniature building in deep perspective.

At nearly 12" tall, Rogue is featured in a 1/6 scale similar to the other characters in the Danger Room Sessions line. Sabretooth is the third member of the elite X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statues in the Marvel Comics Presents Kotobukiya Collection. Inspired by Jim Lee’s 1990’s era X-Men, Sabretooth (Victor Creed) embodies animalistic aggression. With similar powers and abilities including a healing factor, superhuman senses, and claws, he was a longtime rival of Wolverine. The fearsome predator stands ready for battle, his left hand balled into a fist and his right splayed open with claws at the ready. Sabretooth’s face is a mask of rage with his fangs bared in a vicious snarl. The mutant’s costume is authentic to the last detail, with the iconic brown and yellow tiger-striped bodysuit and massive fur collar. Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of DC Comics, the DC X Bishoujo Collection (combining DC’s superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings) continues with the second beautiful bishoujo-inspired statues, Catwoman. Catwoman is ready for heroism or mischief (or both). Clad in her tight black leather bodysuit, the thieving beauty coyly raises one foot off the ground while playfully biting her whip. Meanwhile, the rest of her weapon coils in the air behind her, adding tremendous life and action to the piece. Catwoman is finely detailed, from her goggles pushed up on her forehead, the straps on her boots and the buckles at her neck and waist. Finishing off with her beautiful Bishoujo-styled face. Catwoman is constructed of high-quality pvc plastic and stands approximately 9 1/10 inches tall (in an increased 1/7 scale for DC X Bishoujo statues) atop an exclusive Gotham City Batman-inspired gargoyle base complete with two miniature cats. First appearing in 1940’s Batman #1, Selina Kyle has for decades straddled the line between hero and villain. Whether on the same side or not, Catwoman and Batman have had an interesting relationship that has occasionally turned romantic.

In celebration of the first Iron Man film came two Fine Art Statues of the superhero’s armored suits: Iron Man Movie Mark II and Mark III. The Mark IV statue is modeled after the updated suit from Iron Man 2. Created by Kotobukiya's sculptors, this statue features "Japan's finest craftsmanship," Koto Inc. President Jeffrey Kashida told TDmonthly.

From the line of 1:1 scale models of Interceptor Dolls from One-Shot Bug Killer!! Interceptor Doll Hoi Hoi-San is the main character’s diminutive assistant and support staff, Hoi Hoi-San Mini with Hoi Hoi Carry. This little “doll” resembles her boss, with a cute maid’s uniform complete with bowtie, puffy shoes, gloves, and a big bow in her hair. She may be small, but she’s still an Interceptor Doll and comes armed with a special “Pumping Gun” in her size. She also brings an exclusive “Hand Gatling Gun” for her boss, and the fantastic Hoi Hoi Carry (a portable armory, the Carry cart has hooks on its sides for weapon storage as well as a dividing plate and opening hatch for loading items big and small). Hoi Hoi-San Mini also comes with extra eye parts for customization, three sets of hands (closed, open, and weapon gripping), and special decals. At just over 3 ¼ inches tall she is in 1:1 scale along with the other One-Shot Bug Killer!! robots.  Sculpted by Tsukuru Shirahige and Yuta Itoyama, the extermination assistant and her gear are comprised of approximately 200 pieces, and Mini has 30 points of articulation.

Joining the line of 1:1 scale models of Interceptor Dolls is the first accessory kit straight out of the hit series, Pest-X’s awesome Oboro motorcycle. Increasing the Doll’s fighting capabilities dramatically, the Oboro has two distinct modes: Pest-X can ride the device in motorcycle mode, and when transformed it into the “Daitetsuwan” (“large arms”) mode the Interceptor can wear it behind her shoulders and take on Combat-San with her special “Zentaz Ryudaken (Mikazuchi)” move. Pre-painted in dark blue and red parts to match its rider, the 6 ½ inch long (1:1 scale) Oboro features synthetic rubber tires for increased realism. (Pest-X figure not included)

From the world-renowned classic manga and anime franchise Patlabor comes the D-Style Griffon. A heavy military Labor suited for combat, this super-deformed Griffon is the perfect complement to the D-Style Ingram 1. The Griffon D-Style model kit captures the look of the original mecha with stunning. With 60 pre-painted parts and easy snap-fit assembly, no glue or paint is necessary. In addition to the classic jet black color scheme, the Griffon also has several tampo print logos; there are also special pre-painted parts including the camera eye, red chest triangle, and hips. One can display the diminutive robot with various included parts like the flight unit or the aqua unit and multiple hands. Standing slightly over 4 ¼ inches tall, this little robot has approximately 15 points of articulation.

From the Frame Arms multi assemble mechanical unit model kit from Broken Blade comes the Fafnir General Baldr's Golem. With an interior core robot “Cross Frame,” this fighting unit has universal attachment points which connect to multiple armor and weapon parts, and shares interchangeable parts with the M.S.G. support series and the Border Break robots. The heroic General Baldr’s Golem has the same basic body as the standard heavy front line fighting unit with its thick and bulky armor plating, distinctive collar, and stout robotic helmet. The interior frame features approximately 30 points of articulation, fully functional even with the added components. General Baldr’s Golem comes equipped with a Press Gun, “Giallar Sigma,” “Gande Type 2” Sword, “Scutum Iota” Shield, and prototype Heavy Grand Sword. To differentiate it from the standard units, Baldr’s features special custom colors, a new head sculpt, bonus parts, and logos for the head, arms, chest, and sword. There are even “Kingdom of Krisna” logos included if the character’s original appearance is preferred. Standing almost 6 ½ inches tall, the robot is comprised of approximately 200 parts.

This robot in the Variable Infinity Series from Armored Core For Answer is the GA GAN01-Sunshine-L. The Sunshine is one of the player’s default corporate Armored Cores and a fan favorite with its heavy armor and weapons. Resembling a main battle tank, the robot is made up of blocky armored sections built to withstand incredible punishment. Able to mete out quite a bit of destruction on its own, the Sunshine is equipped with twin handheld GAN01-SS-WB bazookas and shoulder-mounted CHEYENNE02 missile launchers. Standing 7 inches tall (1/72 scale), this powerful unit is comprised of approximately 600 parts and when fully assembled it has 20 points of articulation. AC kits feature easy snap fit assembly with included pictorial assembly instructions and do not need to be painted.

The Type 38 Model 1 Remodeling Ryurai is an upgraded verson of the Zennrai. While the Zennrai featured a booster pack and heavy armor, the Ryurai goes even further with massive weaponry and advanced systems. It also continues the “main battle tank” motif with tank treads and alternate heavily armored legs. The Ryurai features all-new components like the S5 Optical Visor, Long Range Plasma Solid Cannon, and Type 65 Shield in addition to its standard complement of weapons. Standing almost 6 1/2 inches tall, the robot is comprised of approximately 300 parts providing nearly 30 points of articulation. All of the Frame Arms robots share interchangeable parts with each other and the Border Break line of robots, and can also connect to and use the M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) series of support units for increased customization due to its core "Frame" skeleton with universal 3mm attachment points.

From SEGA's Border Break: Sega Network Robot Wars line of game characters comes the Cougar Type S fighting robot unit. Still relying on its great speed, the “S” version of the Cougar Assault Blast Runner features additional weapon systems and armor, including great new guns and a heavy trident for fierce melee combat.  Not only can one outfit their Cougar with any combination of weapons, but the hip boosters open up and by swapping out the parts, one can shrink or extend their nozzles. Just like in the game, the robot’s weapons can be mounted on its back for storage. Each robot in the Border Break series is built on the universal core “Cross Frame” outfitted with additional armor, weapons, and accessories.  The robots are fully articulated and poseable, and you can combine and interchange parts from different units to create your own original Blast Runner. Standing over 6 inches tall, the Cougar Type S is comprised of approximately 500 parts of articulation.

From SEGA's Border Break: Sega Network Robot Wars line of game characters comes the Zebra 41 fighting robot unit. The Zebra 41 has medium armor that doesn’t get in the way of its maneuverability and speed, and is further assisted by hip boosters that can be extended or retracted with additional parts.  The blue and white robot utilizes an advanced Optical Camouflage system, and takes on enemy units with an “LZ-Triad,” “Sentry Gun,” and “Leveler MP20.”  All of these additional parts can be mounted on the Zebra’s back for storage just like in the game. Each robot in the Border Break series is built on the universal core “Cross Frame” outfitted with additional armor, weapons, and accessories.  The robots are fully articulated and poseable, and you can combine and interchange parts from different units to create your own original Blast Runner. From the smash hit anime series Bakemonogatari comes the second in a series of Ani*Statues, the ghost Mayoi Hachikuji. Forever trying to complete her journey to her mother’s house, the young girl met up with Koyomi Araragi and eventually reached her destination. Always on the move, Mayoi trudges along determinedly, clutching the straps to her plush animal-inspired overstuffed backpack. She wears a school girl outfit with a white short-sleeved shirt, bowtie, high socks, and a pink suspendered skirt with matching shoes. Mayoi has lots of unique details including a bandage on her knee, embroidered cherries on her skirt, a bracelet, headband, and leafy hair decorations. While her whole body is in motion, the ghost girl stares straight ahead toward her destination, a slight smile on her lips. Sculpted by Koei Matsumoto, Mayoi stands 7 ½ inches tall (1/8th scale) and is constructed of high-quality pvc plastic.

Coming straight out of the TV series finale of Toradora! is the beautiful, but antisocial, Taiga Aisaka. Dressed in a black school girl uniform complete with thigh high black stockings and blue shoes, the “Palmtop Tiger” stands nervously with her hands behind her back and one foot pointed innocently inward. Sculpted by former garage kit dealer and star of Wonder Festival 2010 Winter “Okamoto Dou Noa Sakura,” Taiga stands at 10 inches tall (in 1/6th scale).

The main heroine of the hit game Mizuiro, Yuki Katase is well known to fans around the world as the mascot for the Nekoneko brand.  She’s also the quintessential imouto or “sister” character, and is a good addition to the “4 Leaves” series of iconic archetypes. Based on the main illustration from the “Neko Neko Fan Disc,” Yuki is posed bent over, supporting herself on a giant golden spoon.  She is dressed in a colorful school uniform embellished by cat ears, a tail, and cat’s paw shoes. Yuki’s “ears” are removable, as is her short skirt to reveal her pretty blue bloomers. As a special bonus, she comes with a 40mm scale Mecha Shindo mini figure. Yuki stands almost 6 ½ inches tall (in 1/7th scale).

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Following hot on the heels of the first three Marvel Comics Bishoujo Collection Statues (Rogue, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch) comes the mysterious and beautiful telepathic ninja mutant Psylocke. Once a British woman with minor mutant powers, Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock's mind was transferred into the body of a ninja giving her additional martial arts prowess. A long-time member of the X-Men, Psylocke now stars in her very own comic book series. Here, the mutant heroine is presented for the first time in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on original character art by illustrator Shunya Yamashita. Psylocke is a warrior woman to the core, striking a deadly pose with twin Japanese swords at the ready. The alluring curves of her body are accentuated by her skimpy, skin-tight costume that leaves little to the imagination and the high heeled boots that draw attention to her shapely legs. Constructed of high-quality PVC plastic and standing approximately 9 inches tall (in 1/8 scale with the other Marvel Bishoujo statues), Psylocke was sculpted by Yu Ishii and is packaged in an attractive window box, along with an exclusive X-Men logo base.

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! With the first Iron Man film came two Fine Art Statues of the superhero’s armored suits: Iron Man Movie Mark II and Mark III. A dark smoky gray appears on the Red Hulk’s shredded pants, close-cropped hair, and finger and toe nails. Gleaming white teeth stand in stark contrast to the monster’s gaping maw, while his tiny beady eyes shine with a hellish yellow.
