The Bead Shop Changes Name to Fashion Angels

New Name Better Reflects Trendy Tween Company

Milwaukee, May 5, 2006 — It’s now official: the tween-crafts and -fashion company known to specialty retailers as The Bead Shop has changed its name to Fashion Angels Enterprises, (ToyShow) which more fully expresses the range of the company’s growing product lines, said public relations director Lisa Orman.

“Our name under The Bead Shop had become too restrictive,” explained Fashion Angels partner Mark Miller, who owns the company with his wife Goldi and Myra Mouloudji. “We are not just about beads. We have grown in so many directions, and really, what all of our brands and products have in common is the on-trend, design, creative element no matter what media we are working in. We believe this name will better reflect the company we have become.”

The company’s sales have grown exponentially for the past several years in a row, continued Orman, and are again expected to double in 2006. This is in part due to Fashion Angels Enterprises’ ability to recognize new trends and develop products that resonate with the tween customer in the marketplace domestically as well as internationally. Fashion Angels Enterprises has inked new distribution agreements in Canada, Denmark and Germany, and expanded sales in the United Kingdom, France and Australia.
