Fairy Dust and Fairy Wings Bring Sparkles and Glitter to Everything

EDC Publishing has a craft book under Usborne Activities titled, “Fairy Things to Make and Do.” Children ages three and up can follow the simple techniques to create fairy worlds with paper, paint, glitter and a few other household items. Kids can even transform into a fairy by making wings, a tiara and a sparkling wand. Little artists can create a magical, fantasy land on paper or on their bedroom wall. A potato becomes a stamp to create a mushroom stool for a fairy to sit on. A small piece of cardboard dipped in white paint creates the petals for a daisy. A small smudge with a finger and voilá – a dragonfly! The kit comes with stickers to decorate wings, tiara, and more. The kit also comes ready with scissors, construction paper, glue stick, paint brush, paint, beads, a bit of ribbon and mesh material, straws (to make the wands), and of course – glitter.
