Budokai 2 Gives Dragonball Z Fans what They’ve been Waiting For

Just released in December 2003, Dragonball Z Budokai 2 builds on 2002’s best-selling fighting game with a new approach to single-player gaming.  In “Dragon Mode,” players join forces with A.I. Z Fighters to capture all seven Dragon Balls,  making for intense new battles, beyond what’s been seen in the animated series. Also new to Budokai 2 is the villainous Buu, who appears in three forms, and the ability for players to absorb enemies with fusion—creating even stronger fighters, just like on the show.

In all, the game features 34 characters from the Dragon Ball Z sagas, Cel-shaded character models for crisp detail, unique attack moves for each character and intense fighting environments.  In addition to Dragon Mode, Budokai 2 also features Versus, Tournament and Training Modes.
